Where We've Been (And What We've Been Working On)
It's been a while since you've seen a blog post from me. (Nearly 2 years!)
To be honest, there was a reason for that.
Over the last couple of years, I've intentionally stepped away from writing regular blog content because I was focused on completing something that had been on my heart for a long time.
I was writing a book.
Many of you know that overlanding, adventure, faith, and family have become a huge part of our lives. What started as a love for exploring backroads and seeing God's creation eventually turned into a story that I simply couldn't stop writing.
Today, I'm excited to finally share that An Overlanders' Honeymoon: A Story of Survival, Love, and Second Chances is officially available.
This book follows Jack and Claire, a newly married couple who set out on the adventure of a lifetime. What begins as an overland honeymoon through the mountains quickly turns into a fight for survival when an avalanche leaves them stranded in the wilderness during the early days of the COVID-19 shutdowns.
But this isn't just a survival story.
It's a story about faith when life doesn't go according to plan.
It's about learning to trust God when circumstances feel impossible.
It's about second chances, redemption, and discovering that sometimes the greatest adventures are the ones we never intended to take.
Writing this book became much more than a creative project when the pandemic shut us down. It became a journey of its own. There were countless late nights, revisions, rewrites, and moments when I wondered if I would ever reach the finish line.
But after all the work, all the edits, and all the prayers, it's finally here.
If you've followed the Post Family Pilgrimage journey for any length of time, thank you. Your encouragement, support, and friendship have meant more than you know.
I'd be honored if you'd check out the book.

And if you do pick up a copy, I'd love to hear what you think.
You can find An Overlanders' Honeymoon now on Amazon and Kobo.
This is just the beginning.
Now that the book is finished, I plan to return to writing more regularly here on the blog. I'll be sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the writing process, overlanding adventures, faith lessons from the road, and updates on future projects that are already in the works.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
The road ahead looks exciting.
Until next time,
Frankie Post
